McKay Garrett
Your real estate professional
Buy · Sell · Invest
Buying and selling real estate can be overwhelming. My entire job is to take that stress away and make the process feel clear and well handled so you can move forward with confidence.
I have a degree in finance, a background in construction, and have managed operations for multiple businesses. I use that experience to keep deals on track.
I’m calm under pressure and naturally private, which becomes a real advantage in negotiations. I focus on facts, contracts, and what’s actually in your best interest.
If you have a problem you want to work through, please reach out. I’m here to help you make the best decisions for your situation.

On the house
List with me and you’ll get up to $1,000 for handyman work, deep cleaning, or touch-ups. Your call. First impressions matter.

The pricing edge
Most agents don’t know how to read the data. Buyers overpay; sellers leave money on the table. My brokerage uses a proprietary pricing model that tells you what a home is really worth — whether you’re writing an offer or setting a list price.
~$10K in upside, on average.
Every step handled
Most agents handle thirty of them and call the rest “details.” We don’t. Every step has a checklist, an owner, and a deadline so nothing falls through the cracks.

The personal side
I have an engineer’s brain and tend to think things through before responding. It’s important to me to pay attention, listen well, and do things the right way.
I have a degree in finance from Arizona State and spent years working in construction and operations management for multiple businesses. I also ran a restaurant for a period of time, which taught me a lot about customer service, communication, and handling pressure. I think all of those experiences shaped how I work with clients today. I naturally think in systems and look for solutions. My brain tends to go straight to, “How do we solve this and keep things moving?”
I understand contracts, risk, negotiation, timelines, and all the moving parts that can affect a deal. I’m also naturally private, which can be a real advantage when negotiating. I keep things close to the chest when it matters and stay focused on what’s actually in my client’s best interest.
Outside of work, I’m usually outdoors or around basketball in some way. I coach junior high basketball at Mountain Ridge, play in an adult pick-up game every Wednesday, and follow both college and pro basketball pretty obsessively. I also love being outside and spending time with my family. Being present in nature is top-tier relaxation for me.
At the core, I just want to be a good person. My motto is: do the best you can and give people grace. I’m married, have two kids, and care deeply about building a good life and being someone people can count on. I’ve also had the same best friends for over 25 years, which probably says a lot about how I view loyalty and relationships.
I genuinely want people to make the best decisions for their situation, whether that benefits me or not. Every client has different goals, pressures, and risks. My job is to help you think clearly, remove obstacles where I can, and help you navigate the process without adding unnecessary stress. If you have questions or want to work through a situation, I’m always happy to help.
